My Childrens Photos

I have not posted in a while so I wanted to get something posted so I am posting photos of my "kids".

Thatcher just loves the snow, he is content just laying out in the snow. After a while, with all the snow on him, he looks more like a sheep than a dog.

This is Preston, he just loves eating the leaves of the roses that one of my wife's friends gave to her.

This photo was a joke that I sent to Cindy Biles a clay sculptor that told me that one of my photos was an inspiration for one of her creations. She just finished a series of sculptures of people holding little dogs; not this size. Check out her blog Scroll down about half way downthe page to see the photo that inspired here. This is Cooper, Thatcher's brother. I tried to pick up Thatcher but he was too fast.

Thatcher Flys

This is my answer to photograph pioneer Eadweard Muybridge who proved that all of the horses hooves leave the ground at one point in its stride. This proves that my dog Thatcher flys. The way he runs his feet spend a lot of time in the air.

Thatcher is in the front here, as you can see that his older brother needs to have one foot on the ground.

Thatcher wants to Drive

Thatcher likes to look out the windshield but also likes to look out the back. I guess he can't decide if he likes coming or going.

FAMILY REUNION ON THANKSGIVING

We brought our dogs over to my sister-in-laws house who was hosting Thanksgiving. She has our dog Thatcher's brother, and sister by a different litter. They all share the same parents. Also there was our other dog Sophie...no blood relation.

Right to left; Sophie, Thatcher, Meridith-Thatcher's sister by a different litter, and Montecore-Thatcher's litter mate.

DOG WITH HANDLE

We got this "handle" for Thatcher so we can pick him up when he falls and help him walk on the slippery floors.

NESTING MATERIAL

While my dog Thatcher was sleeping in the back yard a bird decided that his fur would make fine nesting material. He slept through the whole thing. The bird sent about five minutes plucking fur from him.

This is my first video post and I took it through two windows so the quality may bit be the best but you get the main idea.

JUMPIN' PUP

We met my wife's sister at the dog park in Southbury CT Saturday. We had our two dogs, Sophie and Thatcher. My sister-in-law and he boyfriend brought their dog Montecore, Thatcher's brother. While we were there I saw this dog across the park jumping high in the air for a Fisbee. He are a few photos of him taken from afar.

PUPPY PARK

Granby, CT - We brought our two dogs to the Granby Dog Park and they had a great time. There are dog parks in the city but they are just starting to come to smaller cities. Up until now we just walked our dogs in the woods but they like to interact with the other dogs. Here the dogs are playing "Follow the Leader".

Every time a new dog comes into the park a greeting committee forms.

Here is our new dog Thatcher. He likes people more than dogs.

Always remember to pick up your dogs poop!

Here is a regular at the park, "Kramer" the Labradoodle.

ZOE WITH THE DARK GOGGLES ON

Collinsville, CT - Last Saturday we took a trip over to Collinsville and came upon Zoe. She was wearing goggles because she is a motorcycle dog, well a motor scooter. We were told she likes to ride the open road with the wind in her fur, tucked nicely in her little carrying bag.
