Back from the Lodge Meeting

We pass this beaver pond often and I will occasionally see this beaver. When we don't see it, my wife always says, "It's at a lodge meeting". Just in case you don't know, a beaver's house is called a lodge...get it?

The beaver cruising next to his dam.

I threw these in for some color; they were growing at the edge of the pond.

Great photos! Although I have seen many lodges and even photographed some, I have not been so lucky to see a beaver swimming like that let alone get a photo. Terrific!
