QUAKER MEETING HOUSE - NEWPORT RI


Newport RI - This Quaker Meeting House wa built in 1699 and was active from 1699 - 1919. Around 1700 about half of Newport's population were Quakers. This meeting house is a stone's throw from the White Horse Tavern, the oldest tavern in America.

I am writing from Routledge publishers in the UK and wondered if you had any other photos of the Quaker meeting house on your blogspot and how I would go about asking for permission to use the exisiting photo in one of our books? It is 'Introducing American Religion' by Charles Lippy.
