NOT ON PEYTON PLACE

 
South Lee, MA – Hurlbert Paper Company - The reason I took this photo was that the guy in the information booth in Lee, MA told me that this was the mill in the show Peyton Place. Well, I did some research and found out that the mill that was used in filming was the Knox Woolen Mill in Camden, ME. Oh well, here is a paper mill in South Lee, MA.

Looks like it could have been used in a jail movie! Or a boys boarding school! Very ominous place indeed!
