RED-NECKED GREBE

 
My friend and I were trying out his canoe and new motor on a lake in Alaska and came upon this duck. It had a nest attached to a few plants in the middle of a small bay. I believe it is a Red-necked Grebe, and if it isn't it should be. It was hissing at us as we went by so we did not come any closer.
