FACTORY ON THE FARMINGTON

Collinsville, CT - Many of the factories of old were located on water to run the equipment and get rid of waste. This factory is located in Collinsville Connecticut and if nothing else makes a great b/w photo.

Where I lived in England, used to be a big textile industry, the mills used to bleach the cloth and the bleach just went in the river untreated and killed all the fish.
Today, the mills have gone and the rivers have returned to a healthy state and restocked with fish.
I wonder if the chinese rivers now get all the polution from all the industry.
