FLOWERS AND CORN

I took this photo a few weeks ago. I though it was a great contrast, the flowers against the corn.

It is almost foliage time around here, but I don't think we are going to have a good year for color. I have a feeling the leaves are going to fall off before we get a lot of color. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a good autumn. Posted by Picasa

The gentle slope of the landscape combined with the differing layers of contrast make for a great shot!

And is that the White Rabbit Dr. John is always talking about, lurking there in the trees?

They have been saying here there will not be much color because of the wacky weather we had this summer. But we are getting some..

Sent by Dr. John, a guy who has too much time on his hands and thinks the rest of us do, too (just kidding...we love going to his link picks!).

It's been raining all day in Kingston upon Hull, England, so your photo has brightened up my day, thank you. Dr John sent me.

What a pretty picture! I do like the contrast of the flowers against the corn and the brown building in the background. We're losing our leaves already here in the midwest, way before they've turned to orange, golds and browns.

I love the flowers and the corn. I am a big fan of green. I always have been, but I grew even more so after moving to the gray desert southwest.

Thanks for providing such a delightful rest stop. I think I am running in last place on Dr. John's Marathon.
