Alas, due to varying reasons, depending on who you talk to, Hitchcock has ceased production entirely, sold off all machinery, jigs, spare parts and now exists solely as a property powner in Riverton, and owner of all copyrights and stencils that the company had used. This factory building is being converted into a climate controlled storage facility. HItchcock furniture can still be purchased, repaired or refinished in Riverton at http://www.stillriverantiques.com/. This link is also available at Hitchcock's website http://www.hitchcockchair.com/.
Great news! The Hitchcock Chair Company was purchased in March of 2010 by the owner of Still Rivert Antiques and his business partner. New Hitchcock furniture is available. Contact the company throught their website at www.hitchcockchair.com or call at 860-738-9958.
