MOHEGAN SUN CASINO


Uncasville, CT - Mohegan Sun Casino is the second largest casino in the world. The largest is the Foxwoods Casino which is also located in Connecticut about 10 miles from Uncasville. Mohegan Sun has a 300,000 sq ft gaming floor and a 1200 room hotel. Foxwoods Casino is just a tad larger at 320,000 sq ft gaming floor. The casinos must pay a combined total of 25% of their slot revenue or $80 million which ever is greater. Even with all that, Connecticut still has the highest taxes of any state.

I once heard a comic say, "The Indians are taking back America one quarter at a time". So true!
