Horses on the Beach

Seabrook, NH - While I was in Seabrook I noticed about a dozen horses on the beach. Since there was a sign that dogs are not allowed on the beach,I would not think horses would be. Maybe animals are not allowed in the summer? Anyway, it seems like a cool thing to do, run your horses down the beach.

Shelburne Farms Sleigh Rides

Shelburne, VT - Every weekend(with snow on the ground) Shelburne Farms gives sleigh rides from 11:00am - 2:00 pm for a fee at the Welcome Center of the farm. The rides are for 15 minutes and go every half hour. Note: you can only get a reservation for these rides by going to the Welcome Center, we got there at 11 am and they were already sold out so get there early. THE HORSE AND THE FLAG

I was on another road trip today somewhere around Mystic CT when I spied this barn with this huge flag on it. Under the flag there just happened to be a horse peeking out of the barn.

TWO MODES OF TRANSPORT

Salem, MA - I took this photo but was hesitant about posting it, it may not be the most flattering for the driver of the carriage. Anyway, I just happened to catch two unique modes of transport in one shot. The real reason I posted this photo is the cool reflectors on the horses front legs. I am not sure I have ever seen that.
