STOCKBRIDGE MASS. TRAIN STATION

Stockbridge, MA - While in Stockbridge I stopped at the train station. I was there on Sunday and it was not open. I am not sure if it is still used as an actual train station or it is just the stop for the Berkshire Railway. A few years back I remember a sign out front for a Japanese Restaurant. No matter what it is now it is a very nice stone building.

If anyone knows anything about this train station, let me know.

More tomorrow.

It is presently set up inside as a slightly updated version of a train station and is a stop on the Berkshire Scenic RR, I believe it is owned by Sen. Jack Fitzpatrick (who owns the Red Lion Inn among other local attractions). The old fire truck club I belong to is having our show there on Oct. 12th 2008 check out http://www.berkshirespaamfaa.org for more info.
