SENIORS AND ICE CREAM

It is a well know fact that Seniors just love ice cream. Do you think it is because is is easy to chew with dentures? Or do they just think, "Hey I'm old, I don't care if it is bad for you, I'm just going to eat it and enjoy it". Just one word of advice, "Don't get in the way when ice cream is on sale at the grocery store they will take you out to get to it". I have this on good advice for my father-in-law...a senior.

Ice cream was a rare treat, usually 4th of july. A huge block of ice had to be broken down with an ice pick, The batter was cooked up, the old hand turned ice cream maker seemed to take forever to freeze the ice cream Yes, seniors love to go down and buy it at any time. Still seems like a special treat to those who started life with no electricity. You've come a long way babe!!
