MONTY THE T-REX

Oakdale, CT - Yesterday I was down the southeastern part of Connecticut when I noticed Monty. This was too good to pass by so I stopped and took a few photos. It was still a little dark but you get the main idea. As you can see Monty is all decked out in his Christmas finest; OK it's a hat, did you ever try to get a suit to fit a dinosaur? Old Monty is what I think would be a full size T-Rex and is located in front of a store called Nature's Art. I saw on their website there is something called Dinosaur Crossing where you can walk among the dinosaurs, I have to get there some day.

Monty is cute, even though he is a Rex. He can thank the Christmas outfit for the change in perception ;p

we have a huge one too, it's in a city close by. Drumheller, Alberta. The city is in badlands, hoodoos, and canyons. it is one of the worldwide biggest fossolize areas, it is usually called "Dinosaur valley". Their rex, is called DINI and is massive. You can climb it or as i say, hike it, lol..Height: 20 Feet (6.1 Metres)
Length: 35 Feet (10.7 Metres)
