PILEATED WOODPECKER

 
My wife and I were stopped at a traffic light in Granby, CT and she yells out, "Look at the size of that Woodpecker". I grabbed my camera just as the traffic was starting to move. I was able to get one quick shot off before the guy in back rammed me.
The Pileated Woodpecker is about 15 inches tall and is found across northern US and Southern Canada.
