COOPER'S HAWK

I was working at my desk and got up to stretch and looked out my window and saw this hawk eating a bird. The hawk was about 10 feet away, for anyone that didn’t see my squirrel photo; my window is at ground level so I have a good view of anything out there. Unfortunately, I had to take this shot through a dirty window on a dark snowy day, but you get the main idea. I think he might stick around because I throw critter chow (squirrel and bird food) out the window to feed the wildlife. Posted by Picasa

Mr. Hawk was hanging around again today looking for a meal but there were no birs to be seen. He sat outside my window for a few hours.
