SUN AFTER THE RAIN

Yesterday we had the typical mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. But today the sun is out. The powdery snow that we once had is now a solid block of ice. It is so hard now that it can even hold up my weight...and it is considerable. It is good for sledding though. Get out the old "Flexible Flyer" and fly like the wind down those hills! Posted by Picasa

Well with a picture like that New England winters look beautiful. Looking out my window at all the ice and sludge I want to cry.

One of the best pictures I have seen lately. Almost made me cry. The red clapboards, old multi-paned windows and man's best friend patiently waiting for her master to arrive. Ahhh, all the ingredients for a great composition!!
