HURD HOUSE WOODBURY, CT - Circa 1680

Woodbury, CT - This is the oldest house in Litchfield county Connecticut, circa 1680. The oldest part of this house was added to a new structure in 1718. In 1967 the Woodbury Historical Society took possession of the house and while stripping off wall paper discovered the original layer bears the marks of English paper of the reign of King George III.

I am looking to get more information on the Hurd House and its ancestry. My dad is a decendant of the Hurds and I'd like to give him the information as a Christmas gift. My email is icequeen1_1@yahoo.com
