Personal Cow

What if you like living out in the country, with pasture land around your property and liked the idea of having some livestock without the hassle of feeding or milking them? Well, get your own personal stand-in cow.

I saw this fiberglass cow next to someone's house, just standing out in the field. This way you can have your cow and never have that, "Down Home Smell", if you know what I mean.

Robo Moose

Bennington, VT - I saw this moose by the side of the road while on my way up to Rutland so of course I had to stop and take a photo. This was the most unusual moose I've seen. Most are painted but this one is made of sheet metal, riveted on. There were also blinking lights coming from inside him. The artist's name is Brad Turner.

Village Bear

Caanan, CT - Here we go again...another fiberglass bear. I spotted this one in front of Geer Hospital. It was painted by Geer Artist Collective.

West Cornwall, CT - Never to pass a fiberglass animal I snapped a photo of this bear. I took the shot from the car so I did not get the name of the bear but the artist is Bianca Langner Griggs.

Torrington, CT - You know that I cannot pass up a fiberglass animal. Here is a bear I saw in Torrington, CT. It is called "PrimaBeara", painted by Tami Valentine.

TURKEY IN THE STRAW

Granby, CT - This fiberglass turkey is located at the Newgate Prison. The fiberglass turkeys are to celebrate the 150th birth date of East Granby. This turkey is called "Turkey in the Straw" painted by Catherine Elliot

VINCENT VAN GOBBLE

East Granby, CT - There back , the fiberglass animals, this time turkey's. These were created to celebrate East Granby's 150th.

This turkey is called "Vincent Van Gobble" and was painted by Nathalie Galluccio.

WHALE TRAIL WHALES

Mystic CT - Mystic Seaport - I stumbled upon these two fiberglass whales at Mystic Seaport. Fifty whales were painted in 2005 auctioned off with the procedes going to non-profit organizations.

AIRPORT HUSKY DOGS

On my way to Alaska from the Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks CT I spied these two "Husky Dogs". The one in the foreground is "Haulin' Husky" the artist is Maribeth Blonski and from the Husky website the dog is called Bradley Husky but the artist was still unknown at the time.

ROUTE 7 GRILL COW

Not one to pass up a photo of a fiberglass animal, here is a fiberglass cow in front of the Route 7 Grill in Great Barrington MA.

AT YOUR SERVICE

Hartford, CT - On No! Not more fiberglass animals. Yes, I can't pass these up. I saw this dog behind the Old State House in Hartford. This is one of the dogs from the "UCONN (University of Connecticut) Husky Trail. These dogs are spread around the state to commemorate the 125 anniversary of U of Connecticut. They will be auctioned off to support the UConn Alumni Scholarship Fund.
