DEATH HEAD

They certainly don’t make gravestones like they used to. I love the old stones with the death heads on them, like this one. I’ve taken many of them and they vary so much. I’ve noticed in smaller graveyards I see only one or two varieties, in larger ones, they vary so much more. I think that they must be almost the stone carver’s signature. I will have to do more investigation and post more of these in the future.
