LIFE STAR

This Life Star helicopter landed a few hundred feet down the road from my house at the fire station. Everyone was out of their houses looking to see what was happening; in a small town, this is a big deal. What was worse was that you know if they called Life Star in, things were bad. Talk down at the general store the next day was that someone had crashed their motorcycle on one of the curves on the way to West Granville and they also said that he died from his injuries. When I went to post this photo I realized it was the anniversary of 9/11 and thought this might be a fitting tribute to those men and women of the Police, Fire, and Ambulance crews who do so much for us. Thanks!

I once wanted to work on Life Star. In fact I have actually flown as an EMT in it 4 times. Seeing it is heartbreaking, but it also is very much a tool for saving lives. Thank you
