BLACK FLY DAY FESTIVAL

Tolland, MA - The Black Fly Festival is held the first Saturday of June celebrating the end of Black Fly season. It is really a reason to have a good time. There is a parade that starts at one end of town to the other and back again. This takes about twenty minutes total including stops. It is kind of hokey but fun. I am going to post photos I took at the festival, in between serving hamburgers, for the next two or three days. I bet you will all be waiting with baited breath for the next installment. This is the true spirit of small town America.

Wow, makes me wish I was there, rather than here, where summer keeps threatening to start and then changing it's mind ...

Thanks for stopping by. The weather was very nice this day. We have had it rain the whole day.
