Granville Harvest Fair and Car Show

Granville, MA - About this time of year I see people searching for information on the Granville Harvest Fair; well here is a poster that tells all the important information.(click for larger view)

Something new and exciting is the car show that will be going on Saturday of the Fair. You can talk cars while your wife attends the fair; a win, win situation.

And don't forget to partake in the Lions Club's Fried Dough.

Granville Forest Kayakers

Granville, MA - I was in Granville State Forest taking some photos and short videos. I was on the side of the stream when I looked up and saw four kayakers on their way down. Unfortuately, I didn't have time to even think what I was doing but I did get a short video and a few stills.

Another kayaker coming down the stream.

I just caught this one as he passed me.

WHOOPS!

Today I decided to trim the brows before they I start to look like Leonid Brezhnev. Well, one should check to make sure the trimmer has that little comb thingy on it before starting. One quick swipe and I'm lopsided. Luckily, I caught it before I went too far. Which reminds me, has anyone seen the cover of Time with McCain on the front? I think he forgot that comb thingy too.

CELERY STALK RESTAURANT

West Springfield, MA - I've been past this restaurant many times but I never stopped. I finally stopped to take these photos but it was closed. I had it in my head that this was a vegetarian restaurant but as you can see from the menu it is a Sandwich, Soup, and Salad restaurant...with and without meat. I would like to go inside one of these days, I bet it has real character.

For those of you outside of this area, a grinder is a submarine sandwich, a hero, or a Hoagie; depending where you are from. I have no idea why we call it that.

I just love this sign, I really like the little guy in the truck. I wonder how many years it has been in the window?
